As part f our science learning, we walked to Gladstone Park to observe plants. Working in pairs, we made sketches, leaf rubbings and took photographs of the plants we saw.
There were quite a few sycamore leaves on the ground. However we also noticed some trees which still had their leaves. When we looked closely we saw that they weren't leaves at all, they were needles.
We'll be visiting the park again in the summer so we'll be able to compare plant life in different seasons.
