Activity 1: Staying safe online

Watch these videos on Espresso to learn how to stay safe online. Write down all the different ways to stay safe and what to do if you feel afraid or worried about something you see online.




Activity 2: The internet can help us learn!

Explain to your child that the internet can be very useful to help us learn about new things.

In science, we are beginning to learn about plants. Click on the link below to explore this BBC webpage and learn more about plants. This will help you with your science learning and activity 3 for computing this week.



Activity 3: Logging on and accessing a site - Busy Things

In school, we do many activities during computing on Busy Things. 

Today, you will need to follow these instructions to get onto a fun science activity on Busy Things. Once you have finished the activity, you can explore Busy Things as long as you have asked permission from your trusted adult.

3. Click on Key stage 1

7. Scroll down until you get to the activity The gardener
