I can count one to one correspondence

 

  • see the presentation below, there are two videos available, first version is correct counting and the second is showing you what to do  in case your child does a mistake 
  • use every day objects e.g. pencils, cars, lego, dinosaurs, buttons, pasta etc. to practise counting
  • encourage your child to say a number for every object as they touch it (That is called counting with one to one correspondence)
