Phonics and Bugclub
We are now beginning to learn phase 5 sounds! Today we will be learning a different way to pronounce the sound /e/. Instead of /e/ in bed, we sometimes say /e/ in delight
- Remembering your sounds so far. The phase 2 and 3 sounds are below.
- Counting syllables in words – we usually clap out syllables in class then use our fingers to count syllables!
- Using the sounds you know to make words and sentences
- Practise our new sound in words
