Friday 8th May 2020- You may know that today is VE (Victory in Europe) day. This is a day to commemorate 75 years since the end of the Second World War in Europe and remember the personal stories of people who stood together during a time of national crisis. 8th May 1945 was a date that remained in the memory of all those who witnessed it. It meant an end to nearly six years of a war that had cost the lives of millions; had destroyed homes, families, and cities; and had brought huge suffering and privations to the populations of entire countries.

Today's inspirational quote of the day: Be the change that you wish to see in the world.

It has been great to see so many of you working hard on Google Classroom. This week's spelling test has been uploaded onto there as well. We hope that you have a lovely weekend!
