Monday 25th May 2020

Good morning year 4!

Eid Mubarak to all that celebrated on Sunday! We hop you had a lovely day with your families. Today is a bank holiday so you can all relax. It is also the start of half term in the school calendar (I Know every day sort of feels the same to us at the moment) so there will be a lot less work on GC (but there is some so do go and have a look). Have a lovely week and we will be back for you all next Monday for the last half term of school this year.

Have a great week!

Word of the week!

While we are learning at home I will be letting you know the word of the week. See if you can use it in your writing. Practise using this word in different sentences so that you gain a better understanding of it and how it is used.

This weeks word is:

Dawn

Noun - the first appearance of light in the sky before sunrise.
Verb - if something is dawning, it is beginning to develop or come into existence.

Example - The birds start to chirp at dawn.
The truth was beginning to dawn on me.

Pictures of our wonderful Year 4 children learning at home

Year 4.

Whilst the school is closed we will aim to support your child's learning as much as we can.

You can contact your class teachers via email and we will aim to respond as soon as possible. If you need advice, help finding work or passwords for the children to access sites such as MyMaths/Bugclub then we will do our best to help you.

We will be regularly updating the Year 4 area with extra activities, good websites and messages.

Packs were given to all children at school and left at the office to pick up if you didn't get one. The pack has also been uploaded onto here, please see below.

We hope you are all well, reassuring the children and will support them to continue with their learning as best you can.

Yours sincerely,

Miss Paknadel, Miss Enahoro and Mr Reed.
